Student-Centered Instruction

Whether a student is strumming their very first chord or preparing for a college audition, I meet them right where they are.

My teaching style is flexible and responsive—I adapt to each student’s needs while creating a learning environment that’s both encouraging and challenging. With every lesson, my goal is to help my students build meaningful musical skills that foster confidence, creativity, and joyful self-expression through the music they love.

Students can expect to learn:

  • Music theory made practical and approachable

  • Ear-training to develop musical intuition

  • How to read and understand musical notation

  • Critical listening and performance skills

  • Their favorite songs!

No matter my students’ age, background, or experience-level, they find a lesson space that celebrates their growth and supports their musical journey.

Pricing

Lessons are held remotely for 30 minutes once per week unless an alternative schedule is arranged.

My hourly rate covers both the lesson itself and the time spent developing each student’s personalized curriculum—covering musical fundamentals, instrument-specific instruction, and student-chosen repertoire.

Instructional rates for piano, guitar, ukulele, or bass:

$35/half-hour

$70/hour

I offer need-based sliding scale pricing because I believe music education should be accessible to everyone. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out—I'm happy to work with you to find a rate that fits your family’s needs.

New students get a complimentary 15-minute consultation. You are welcome call, text, or e-mail me to get started.
